Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Randy the Puppy

Pet Rescue By Judy, Here is long overdue update on Randy the Boxer Puppy that we adopted last April. Where do I begin. Randy, now known as Rambo Tank has taken over our hearts and our home. This past year has been wonderful and I can't imagine our home without him. He is such a good puppy and took to learning really quick the rules of the house. He is about 50 some pounds now but thinks he's a lap dog through and through. He loves being with people, children and of course other dogs. His favorite place to go is to our local dog park because he gets to play in the water. While he's not a big fan of swimming, he sure loves to splash around. We even have a "puppy" pool for him in our backyard. Rambo is a very loving dog and loves to cuddle up with us on the couch and even tries to sneak into bed at night. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to bring this little guy into our family. Erika and Jonathan

If you remember....here is Abbie at one year +. She also has a sister now.....Sally. They are great companions. Sally just turned one. Disregard the date on the photos, it is incorrect.

Reginald

I adopted Reggie (now known as Peanut) at the end of November. He is my laid back “surfer dude”! The other three cats took some time to get used to a new sibling, and we went through a few months of hisses directed at him. Peanut simply didn’t respond, other than to move a little further away from the hiss-er. He is the most snuggly, loving boy, and brings me joy every day. He’s become quite the talker, and has one of the best purr motors I’ve ever heard. He loves everyone, and has stolen the heart of every visitor to my home. I am so glad Peanut was there at the Oviedo Mall the day I came by, and deeply grateful to Judy and the rest of the gang for keeping him an extra two weeks until I could bring him to his forever home.

Rory ~ VIDEO

Hey Judy just letting you know Rory is doing wonderful. it took him a week or two but he has found his niche in the pack, and he has finally come to the conclusion (with a little persuasion) that the donkey is a friend
