Roxy the American Bulldog

Roxy is doing great!! The first night we brought her home she kept roaming the house and wouldn’t play with any of the toys that we had gotten her. She insisted on sleeping in the laundry room. By Friday; she started considering her self as part of our family. She has a bed in the Family room and in our bedroom; when she sees us getting ready for bed; she gets on hers. She is very loving and enjoys our walks. Tomorrow she has a Vet appointment and will get started on Heartworm and flea medicines. I am attaching some pictures of our Christmas together. Rubee the Sweet Jack

My husband and I just had to take a moment to wish you all happiest of holidays and to tell you how much adopting Trixie (formerly Rubee) has enriched our lives. She fit right into our household perfectly from the beginning as if she had always been a member of the family. She was very well behaved from the moment she entered the car for the ride home. She loves chasing the squirrels around the yard, playing with her toys, riding in the car, she even adapted well to the grandkids--and we couldn't love her more. It has only been six months since we have had her, but it feels as if she has always been a member of the family and can't imagine our lives without her. Thank you for the opportunity to have rescued such a beautiful little girl. Happy Holidays to all of you!

Remi the Little Terrier Blend

There is a simple yet profound way to talk about Remi. He makes us happy. All seven of us in the house enjoy and benefit from his love. When anyone comes home it is Remi first and then humans are greeted. We absolutely love him. He lives to go in the pool and even through he goes through pool fetching toys like they were free, we make sure he gets out there everyday. He walks 1.5 miles twice per day and his behavior in a busy neighborhood is flawless. He is healthy and happy and reaping the benefits of hanging out with a family that can match, and even beat, his energetic lifestyle. Remi is part of the family. Like any teen, there is a learning curve, but he adapts quickly to any new behaviors that he has to acquire. The other day, Hannah (13) was still outside and it was getting dark. We knew she was walking the dog but it didn't click at first. We only knew that she had been gone for a while and daylight was fading fast. We naturally started to get a bit nervous and then we remembered, "Remi is with her. She is fine." That was a good feeling. Thank you so much, Elise & Bob (& Lynsey, Brittany, Dillon, Hannah, Bobby)
