Precious

It has been awhile since we have been able to bring Precious by to say hello, so we thought we would send you some pictures to show you how she is "struggling" at her new home. After we got our pool filled, she decided to get some sun with Olivia and then on our turtle float with Kaley (who knew she was so crazy about water). We were having such a hard time keeping her out of the pool that we thought it best to get her a vest (she could stay in for hours if we let her). We are so glad we found Precious - I don't think anyone could ask for a better dog. Even the neighbors are impressed with her (especially when we walk and she insists on holding her own leash. We hope to get her by sometime soon to say hello. Thanks again for letting us adopt her. ~Margaret O.

Peaches the Cocker

I wanted to say thanks to everyone who had a hand in bringing this adorable girl into our home! Thanks to all who found her, brought her in, bathed her endlessly with mange treatment, handled her with gloves and garments with the Parvo scare, fed her, walked her and kept vigil over her. We are forever grateful that she healed and is now at home with us. Peaches is a different dog than the shaking flurry we took home on Easter. The only shaking going on is her tail, which is constantly wagging. She loves the sprinklers, the rainstorm does not bother her (unlike my Catahoula who hides under the bed), she follows me, the kids and Maggie everywhere. She is eating well, no problems eating with people around, she and Maggie have been sharing toys and food bowls happily. She has slept easily through the night and knows where the door outside is...and she LOVES to romp outside! The boys adore her and she is eager to curl up in their laps or follow them in the yard as they play. She is learning sit, wait and down and follows directions well. We took her to Petsmart and my husband was stopping every 30 seconds to take another picture of her. She has adjusted to a home quickly and is happy and calm! We could not be happier and look forward to many years of memories and laughs together. Thanks for bringing us our forever dog! Many blessings for all you do, Col

Pistol the Shepherd

Hi Everyone at Pet Rescue by Judy! Snoop (formerly Pistol) is doing great. He is an amazing dog. He hasn't gone to the bathroom in the house Once! He has learned to sit and we are working on how to stay. He has some anxiety about going outside in the yard to potty by himself. He is also a good thief. He has already absconded with an entire box of Corn Flakes... We are getting a gate for the kitchen now. He is very loving and sweet. We love him!! He has his first appointment with his new Vet on Monday. Thanks again for everything you do at the rescue center! Sincerly, Gerda C.

Pot Pie the Min Pin

Just wanted to let you know that Pot Pie is settling in – we already love her and don’t know how we made it without her. Here is a pic – she’s already found the bed she likes.
