This is one WONDERFUL girl! She sits on her perch and welcomes everyone into the cat room. Saying, "Hi I'm Bunni welcome to the cat room. Will you pet me and love me?"
Sweet Bunni had a very close call. She was scheduled to be killed along with 49 other cats, all on one Friday. The "shelter" that she was at was one of the ones in Georgia that gasses the animals to death. It is a very cost effective way to kill a mass of pets, but it is horrible. They start to wimper after a few seconds and die crying. Horrible. Gassing has been outlawed in most states, but sadly our neighbor is not one of them.
A group of volunteers contacted us and begged us to help find homes for at least some of these cats. How would you like to be the one receiving that phone call? How would you like to be the one knowing that if you say know, the cats will all be killed? So we took some of them; we couldn't take them all. But Bunni was one of the lucky ones. And we know her luck will just continue. She is going to find a loving home that will hold her, love her, care for her forever!!!!
