Description:
Molly is a big Bull Mastiff, but just as sweet as she can be.  She is great with people, other dogs -- especially the little ones, cats, etc.

We rescued her from a high kill shelter where her time was up because she has no hair and had a few growths. After a thyroid test, we discovered she has hypothryoidism and that she will be in need of a very cheap and reasonable thryoid medication on a daily basis for the rest of her life.

We have removed most of her growths (also a condition of her underactive thyroid) and will have the rest removed in the coming week. She is HW neg and is a very sweet loving girl.

Foster update 3/23: Well Molly was spayed and we removed one of her last tumors so she is ready to go. Molly is a wonderful loving big teddy bear who doesn't know her size ! She loves to cuddle in your lap or with you on the bed. She loves to have her face scratched and can't get enough attention from people. She basically ignores my cats and gets along with my dogs and my 2 small foster dogs as well. She is a bit older so doesn't play much with my dogs and she sleeps alot but she can be so silly and run around the house. Her tail clears the coffee table in one wag! She would love to have a wonderful forever home. She will need to be on her thyriod medication twice daily for the rest of her life. Anyone whom wishes to adopte her will get a 1 months supply of this medication for free. She's mostly bald but her hair is growing in fast. I expect she will have a full coat in about 6-9 months!

Foster update 3/30: Well Molly is doing wonderfully and has really come into her own. She loves the dog park and runs up to every person and dog to "check them out". She isn't an instant player but once she knows a dog (i.e. mine) she does do some play. She has a VERY sensetive stomach and can not take change in food, scrap food, cat food, etc. well. She gets blow out diarrhea and goes all over the house. So we working on getting her regular again with the food..As of right now she is not housetrained. I am pretty sure she was kept outside or in a kennel her whole life and just doesn't understand the freedom of the home. Although she doesn't chew or distroy anything in the home..she hasn't gotten the housetraining thing down yet. We're working on it! She is a loving gentle dog whom is very charming! She likes other dogs but prefers if they hold the same energy as her..clam quiet. She doesn't like larger dogs in her face or running up in her butt. She will give a low growl and eventually a LARGE bark to show he unhappyness but has never bitten, or snapped at another dog or person. She basically is all talk and i make sure she feels comfortable in my pack leadership so that she will never have to take any action!
