Description: Noah is a beautiful chocolate terrier mix. He was left tied to a tree in Baldwin Park. I just shudder when I think about it. What was it like for him to see his owner walking away? How long did he bark, asking him to turn around? When did he realize that he was abandoned? At least a stranger untied him, called Judy and brought him to us. How can someone do such a thing to such a sweet dog? He is very playful but will settle right down. Because of his size and playfulness, we will not place him in a home with children under 10 years old - there is just too much momentum in this guy! If you are a new dog owner we, and you!, will want you to enroll with him in a dog training class. Believe me, you will always enjoy your dog more if you and he are properly trained! After all, Noah loves his people so much he is capable of clearing a 6 foot fence to be with them!
From Foster Home : Noah is settling into home life wounderfully. He loves any attention he can get. He is very full of joy. Talk about a fast learner, Noah is defantly smart. He is going to need someone to bring it all out and help him learn what is expected of him. I started leash walking and heeling yesterday it only took him a good 10 mins to know that I wanted him by my side! He still tryed ever now and then to pull away but as soon as I Stoped and turned to walk the other way he was right there with me looking up to check in to make sure I was happy with him. He is crate trainged and I have not had any potty problems in the house. But he still needs to be watched in the house. He still has that puppy instent to check out everthing and anything. once u let him know to stay out of it he normally does. He has allready learned he is not allowed on the bed. Give this boy a raw hide and he will play to himeself for hours! If you are looking for a new family member that will love you back as much as u love him amd someone to play fetch and auctually bring the ball back! Thats right he brigns it back and will drop it at my feet! Does it get any better than that?? No of course not. Noah is great. He is still willing to learn anything and everthing u want him to do..HE allready knows Sit,give me Paw,Down (for about a min) also has a good basic feel for Heel!
