Penny is a beautiful spirited pup that loves playing in the backyard, munching on sticks, and giving just the perfect amount of cuteness and sass. She is incredibly smart, almost 90% potty trained (she just can't hold it all night, but uses pee pads and will whine to let you know she needs to go number 2). She also knows how to use doggy doors. She has just the perfect amount of energy for playing outside, but then also resting under a nice tree. She has a really great disposition, and would get along in a home with another dog, or on her own; however, she absolutely needs a yard since she loves, sniffing and exploring like any lab/retriever mix would do. penny also has a little nub for a tail, she was born that way she wiggles it just like if her tail was long and you can see it in the uploaded video below, where her pictures are, It's a very cute little tail.  She is easy to bathe, makes cute little grunts here and there when she's sniffing or snuggling and she will seek you out for kisses. She's a very confident and spunky chunker of a puppy :)

Penny and her siblings made their way to PRBJ from a high kill shelter.  Unfortunately only the pups made it to the rescue and the shelter had given the mom back to the original owners after they surrendered over the pups.

New puppy parents must be dedicated to obedience, socialization and potty training to ensure the pup grows up to be a happy and well-adjusted dog. We highly recommend their new family attend puppy training classes. Training classes are the most successful when everyone in the family attends so you all learn about your new puppy.

Please note a fenced backyard is preferred for this baby to romp and safely play
