Description:Duncan and her brothers Poe and Alturo came to us as little kittens with their fantastic mom C.C. As is the case with many outdoor cats, they were a bit mangy and spent a lot of quality time with us taking their medicine like champs. Now you should SEE them. They are stunning little kitties - the whole batch. Cute as pie! Duncan is the only female and is quite the character. She LOVES to drive us all crazy by making a mad dash out of her crate when the door opens. Not going anywhere in particular - just likes to pop out like a jack in the box. She has serious personality and will be an entertaining addition to your family.
Foster update 11/15:
Altura, Poe and Duncan are confident and social kittens. Typically playful it’s like have a whirlwind in the house when they play together. They adore human company and start to purr the moment you pay them any attention. They are great with dogs and other cats. They are litter trained, will use a sisal scratching post and most importantly love to snuggle with you and enjoy being held and cuddled – till it’s time to play again that is! They would fit well into most households but it would be nice for them to have a feline companion or two and someone around enough to give them the attention they love.
Foster update 12/4:
This litter of kittens was born to love and be loved - Alturo is the talker, Poe the lap/head/shoulder cat and Duncan the active little minx who loves to lounge on laps on her down time. All are wonderfully loving, happy, playful and confident. They would fit in with all families but it would be great if they could have a feline playmate or two. They get on very well with my cats and engage my two dogs in play. They use a sisal scratching post and are litter trained. They are a joy to have around and will brighten anybodies household. They like to snuggle on the bed with you at night and are used to being close to you. They will wonder around the house crying for you and when you call for them they “chirp” and coming running to you, purring up a storm!
Foster update 12/26: Duncan is the smallest of the litter but makes up for it with a large personality. She is petite and has beautiful markings she inherited from her Mom, “CC”. She is the sweetest little cat and loves to follow you around the house. However, her all time favorite pastime is to “help” you whilst you are at the computer. She comes racing in and flies across the room to land (if lucky) in your lap. If unlucky, she lands in the trash can but that doesn’t faze her one little bit. Quick as a flash, she is up on the desk, on your shoulders and checking around the back of the monitor. Occasionally she likes to type. On her “down time” she will curl up on any available lap and have a snooze. Duncan would be best suited to a home with adults only or older children as she is less tolerant of rough handling than her brother, Poe and was pretty spooked by young children lunging for her at the Oviedo Mall.
