Butterscotch was adopted back in 2008 as a puppy. His owner decided he did not want him any longer and surrendered him back to Judy. Judy asked him to get his necessary shots, and instead, he took Butterscotch to animal control, but they refused him, and so the owner left him by the side of a very busy road with a lot of big trucks flying by. Of course, he was so scared.  Thank goodness, a nice lady drove by and picked him up.  She took him home to care for him for a few days, and to the vet office to be scanned for a microchip, which went back to Pet Rescue by Judy, and PRBJ picked him up. Now that Butterscotch is safely back at Pet Rescue by Judy, he has a soft bed, water and great food, along with a lot of kisses and hugs. He is good with other dogs and people, and is housetrained. He has been around a little child and a baby and did great! Although Butterscotch is a bit older, he is filled with unconditional love!
