Cinnamon is a sweet loving puppy. I simply adore her ears! I don't really know what her mix is. We had her momma, who looked like she was part lab. We thought the daddy might have been a Shepherd, but the longer Cinnamon's ears get, the more I wonder if Daddy might have been a Doberman..... She was born in a kill shelter and rescued by us. In December, she was adopted from us as a young puppy by a large family (including 5 children). She was returned because they could no longer care for her. She is now looking for a great home. She is a young active puppy looking for a great home to live in!
Cinnamon was adopted once again but it has not really worked out. This is what her previous owner had to say about him:
Update 10/29: Cinnamon is a very intelligent and sweet dog. She loves to sit in your lap and is very affectionate. She is high energy and needs lots of exercise. I have worked with a trainer and she does very well on a leash and loves to go for walks; she would love to run with someone. She has a beautiful easy to maintain short coat and loves to play with with ropes, pull toys and stuffed animals. She would probably do best in a family where she was the only pet; she does not bother my smaller dogs or cats, but she has gotten into fights with my 2 dogs who are the same size as her on multiple occassions.
*** According to www.dogbreedinfo.com, the Labrador Retriever is a loving, affectionate, lovable, patient dog. Once known as the "St John's Dogs," the Labrador Retriever is one of the most popular breeds in the United States. Originally from Newfoundland, Canada the Labrador was trained to jump overboard into the icy waters to haul fisherman's nets to shore. Specimens were brought to England in the 1800's by English ships coming from Labrador, where the dog's fine retrieving instincts were honed and developed. One of the best family dogs and canine companions because of their gentle, loving disposition, the highly trainable Labrador also excels in drug detection, as a guide for the blind, and service dog for the disabled. The breed is also an outstanding obedience and field trial competitor. Highly intelligent, loyal, willing, and high-spirited. Lively and good-natured, they love to play, especially in water - for they love to swim. They have an excellent, reliable, temperament and are friendly, superb with children and equable with other dogs. They crave human attention and need to feel as though they are part of the family. Labs are easily trained. These dogs are watchdogs, not guard dogs, although some have been known to guard. They have a life expectancy of 10-12 years.
