Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Nami the Golden Eyed Fluff Ball Kitten

Hi Pet Rescue by Judy! My husband and I thought you would enjoy seeing a few pictures of our two Pet Rescue by Judy cats that we adopted within the past year. Niko, formerly known as Stephen, we adopted in June of last year and Sophie, formerly known as Nami, we adopted in February. We couldn't ask two better cats. They have become the best of friends and spend their days snuggling, chasing each other all around the house, giving each other baths, and getting into all sorts of trouble. Thank you for all of the hard work that you do!

Nellie the Ultimate Cuddler

"Sandra, thank you for everything. Nellie is fitting in great in her new home. She has been great with the kids and has been such a sweetheart. She has made herself right at home sleeping in our bed with us at night. She even loves going to see her "grandparents" when we go visit my parents down the street, and is far is very well behaved. I attached a picture of Nellie and my daughter Katie, the matching red-heads in the family. Thank you again for everything. Heather"

Noelle the Shy Chihuauhua

This is Zoey with Kermit. She appears to be grinning from ear to ear, so I thought this would be a good one for your success page!

Nadia the Maine Coon Mix Kitten

Good morning and happy new year! I just thought I’d pass on to you that the kitties settled in quickly here and that they are doing well. My daughter decided to rename them Mittens (Cassie) and Jingle (Nadia) and she loves having them in the house! Mittens is still a little shy (she’s a real scooter and runs everywhere – very sneaky) and Jingle is akin to Bubba the Love Sponge. Can’t let Mittens get anything that she doesn’t get first. Anyway – thanks for what you did for these two and for all the other kitties that you help save from unpleasant lives. It is more appreciated than you know. Have a great 2013!

Necee the Shepherd/Lab Puppy

I wanted to share a picture of our adopted girls, Maddie and NeeCee (now called Abby and Charley). We recently adopted Charley (NeeCee) so our Abby (Maddie adopted in August) would have a companion. Abby sort of chose Charley when we visited the Oviedo Marketplace adoption center on December 2nd. It was a very smart choice. Charley and Abby are extremely compatible. They play together a lot. They sleep near each other. A very good match. We couldn't be happier. They also show little to no jealousy towards each other, which is a pleasant surprise. Charley is still a puppy and as such is not quite housetrained yet, though her 'accidents' are becoming fewer and fewer. We are so thrilled with our girls. Everyone who meets them likes them. We feel lucky to have them in our family and are so happy we decided to adopt through Pet Rescue by Judy. You guys are incredible!
