SnickerDoodle and her 3 puppies were surrendered to PRBJ because the owner was no longer able to care for them.  Mama and her 3 puppies quickly went into a foster with dogs, cats, and parrots.  They are all sweet and playful.

Snickerdoodle is the mom to Eggnog, Gumdrop, and Biscotti. All were owner surrendered to PRBJ. Eggnog, like all puppies, is very playful and loving. He will need guidance with housetraining.  Puppy classes are a must. While these dogs are tiny to the point that their accidents and bad behavior is less impactful as say, a much larger canine, they can still be difficult to train.

These little dogs love to love, but also require the same amount of attention in return. They’re incredibly keen to their surroundings, which make them fantastic watch dogs, but, they are known to bark a lot.

First and foremost—introduce your Chihuahua to different environments, strangers, and other dogs. The more you accustom your puppy to foreign environments, people, and dogs, the likelihood of him being more confident and sociable increases immensely.

Please note that if childen are in the home, it is preferred they are 8 years or older.

Snickerdoodle has been a great mama keeping an eye on her babies and making sure they were well fed.  She enjoys snuggling on the couch and now that her pups are bigger she likes sleeping with the other dogs and humans.    She does great with cats and enjoys playing with them.
