Beautiful Lacey is a sweet very sad senior dog.  She had owners since she was very young and sadly had to be surrendered to Pet Rescue by Judy due to her owners being in a nursing home now.   Their daughter in law surrendered her to us and did not have much information to share.  She loves to go outside for walks and be near her owner.   She is not a fan of crates.   Lacey does need to be on ID low fat dry food and we do mix it with ID low fat wet.  If anyone is interested in opening up their hearts and home to Lacey please put an application in.  She is in a foster home at this time.

Lacey is a very sweet girl and does not like being alone.    She needs to be in a home with somebody around most, if not all, the time.   She is on medication for her anxiety so any potential adopters need to be aware of the cost of daily meds as well as her current food which is available through the vet.   The vet did say she needs to lose 4 to 5 pounds.  She is housetrained and sleeps through the night.   She loves being outside.    She has some lumps and bumps, but  her recent bloodwork was good.    She has an area on her back paw that needs to be watched so that she does not lick at it but that seems to be tied in with her separation anxiety.    Her bark is the typical hound bark/bay so would do best in a single family home.
