It has been almost a week now since we brought Lucy to her forever home! We wanted to let you know that she is doing well. We have renamed her "Jade", and got her a pretty green collar and leash to go with her name.
Jade went to the vet
Monday
and got a clean bill of health.
She and Shado are getting along very well. They love to play "chase" all over the house. Jade has gotten confident enough to even start the game on her own. (I am exhausted from just watching them.) Jade is getting used to our walks on the trail. She is still not sure about all the bikes, though.

Here is an update on Lucy! We renamed her Jade. It has been a wonderful 5 weeks. We were curious about her breed so we had her DNA tested.
Jade's DNA Panel came in!

Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler,
Shetland Sheepdog Mix

It said that one parent was 1/2 Straffordshire Terrier & 1/2 Rottweiler. The other was 1/2 Shetland Sheepdog & 1/2 Mixed breed (more than 4 breeds mixed together).
So there you have it. The body shape is the terrier, the color pattern is Rottweiler, the smaller size, furry ruff behind her ears, and tiny bark are Sheltie!

Three years ago we adopted our sweet Jade from Pet Rescue by Judy. Thanks for bringing this sweet ball of fluff into our family!
Four years ago today we adopted a sweet, timid little girl. Jade isn't timid any more! Thank you Pet Rescue by Judy for bringing us together with our sweet fur baby!
