Hayden the Lab Puppy

I would just like to say as the adoptive "parent" of a black mini lab mix named Hayden, who we took in back in July, I can't imagine the tragedy of his being euthanized. He is the sweetest dog there is and is a great pet for my husband and I as we enter our empty nest years. What a treat he is. We were told when we adopted him that black dogs and cats are hard to place, and thought that was so silly. We had actually seen Hayden on the website the night before and rushed a good 50 or 60 miles from out house to get him. He had been on "death row" in Georgia and was rescued and brought to your shelter. He had a brother named Payton and I often wonder what happened to him. I know someone must have adopted him too. Anyway, I can attest to the fact that there is nothing better than to have a little black dog waiting for you at the end of a long day! Betty R.
