Carson ~ Declawed

Hi Stephanie & everyone at PRBJ: Just wanted to send you a quick update on 14 year old Carson, who we adopted through you on July 1st. He's doing great & settling in nicely with his new sister, our Bombay, Ruffian. He stopped hissing at us after a couple of days, but it took him nearly a week to come out of the bedroom. Then there were a few dicey moments as he forgot his bathroom manners & then decided to test his mettle chasing his new shell shocked sister - who lost 2 older, ill 'sisters' in less than 2 months. There was a whole lot of hissing going on. Shortly after he arrived, my Mom arrived for the summer & he has been sticking to her like glue, even watching the afternoon soaps with her. He has come out of his shell wonderfully & we now have 2 cats running around the house together. We keep in touch with his former Mom. She was happy to hear of his progress, but I think she still misses him. We know it was very hard for her to give him up, but we're glad that she did so through you. Here's a couple of pics.
