Greece the Tervaren Puppy
Greece the Tervaren Puppy

Hi, Judy! Hi, Michelle! Hi, Amanda!. Hi, everyone!! It's me -- Greece. But they don't call me that anymore. Now my name is "No-Tahoe-No", or Tahoe for short. I also have several nicknames including "Good Boy", "Crazy Puppy", and "He's Soaking Wet - Don't Let Him in the House"... The list goes on... And I'm not a puppy anymore! I weigh 50 pounds now, and have just about all of my big dog teeth! (Only one chair leg suffered a casualty as the result of my teething!) Some day my ears might stand up too, but I wouldn't count on it... My new pack consists of a really nice lady (aka mom), the big guy (aka dad), Buffy, Buck, and my BFF Cody. Cody has taught me a lot -- how to beg, play, and give kisses when I want the humans to do a trick (like give me a treat or let me out)! There is also this really funny looking dog named Elvis (mom and dad call him a "cat") and lots of things with strange "fur" on them that I like to chase into the pond (mom and dad say they're "ducks") . I LIKE IT HERE!!! We have a big yard, and I can chase lizards, frogs, and the other dogs whenever I want (you'll see a picture of me and Buck running around together in the backyard). Buck and I actually look a lot alike -- if he wasn't "fixed" you might think he was my dog-father... Dad taught me to swim in the pool right away, and the pond is always a good alternative when I get hot from running around! (Mom says that's why my name is Tahoe -- it's the Washoe Indian word for "big water"). And when I start to smell really bad from being wet all of the time, mom asks another nice lady named Tammy to give me a bath. I like chasing the bubbles...! I know you thought I was a Belgian Tervuren, but mom stuck a q-tip in my mouth and now she says the results show I'm really 40-75% German Shepherd and 40-75% Rottweiler. (What's DNA?) I think there is some confusion here -- I need to get the vets to update their database with the correct breed for me and others from your shelter -- we are all PRBJ Creampuffs! Every evening, I go down to the easement at the back of my property (which the humans call the "dogpark"). This man named Don always comes around with his dogs and gives me lots of treats -- mom and dad say he's the original Cesar Milan (who's that?) -- and I get to run around with the other dogs until I'm all tuckered out. That's where I met Ham Bone (aka Hammy). He and I "talked" and it seems he remembers you, too! I'm sending you some pics of him and me (taken by his dad, Mike) in a separate email for the record -- 2 PRBJ puppies playing together. How cool is that? The reason I'm here is that dad couldn't sleep one morning -- he woke up at 6AM and decided to watch the news and that's when he saw me and Judy on TV. The rest is history... Mom is making dad take sleeping pills now, so that never happens again... Besides, after adopting me , life couldn't get any better...! More later. Licks and wags, Tahoe (f/k/a Greece) P.S. I'm attaching pics from over the last few months in no particular order. I've grown up a lot and while I miss all of you, I think I'll be where I'm at for awhile... Mom sings this silly song to me on a regular basis (use the music from "Annie", "The Sun Will Come Up Tomorrow"): Tahoe, Tahoe You're so dog-gone cute, Tahoe I think that you will stay....... Thanks again for taking such good care of me and finding me a good home!!!
