Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Charlie the Jack Russell
Charlie the Jack Russell

Hi Diana ~ Charlie is doing great! He and one of the cats are now great friends chasing in and out of the house. He is a great friend to me and keeps me moving when I'm home. I tried to take some pictures but he moves too fast. Hope you're still fostering. Without you, Charlie might not have me. ~ Laurea A.

Just saw your e-mail. Yes Teddy is doing great! He weighs a pound more now and is adjusting well to the pets and family. We love him. The Jesser Family

Baby the Senior Lhasa Apso
Baby the Senior Lhasa Apso

Baby is mostly blind, deaf and had a heart murmur. We have renamed her Sofia, which is Spanish for wisdom or wise. At age ten, she has had to become wise to survive. She was found wandering the streets and saved by a wonderful woman named Lisa. Sofia is doing very well. Her heart problem is being diagnosed, but our vet is more optimistic that the original vet. Sofia is the sweetest animal we have ever seen. We are blessed to have her. Charmaine G.

Astor
Astor

This is to report that the recently adopted ASTOR from Pet Rescue by Judy is doing quite well in her new surroundings. She is bonding with our older Labrador and is learning the house rules. She is a very good natured dog and learning rapidly. She had her stitches out yesterday.

Punky
Punky

I just wanted to give you an update on Peanut and Almond (Punky). Since we adopted them two months ago they have really come around. I am so glad we were able to keep these two brothers together as they seem really attached to each other. They both love their bellies rubbed and are so good at sharing the window seat with each other. They are very good eaters and love to chase lizards around the porch. We are so happy to have these two sweet boys as a part of our family and are so glad that you provide people with the opportunity to rescue animals in need! Sincerely, The Peckham Family
