Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Thursday PUPPY

Just wanted to give updates to you on Thursday , now Gracie! We love her soooo much! Potty training was easy she lets us know when she needs to go out. Sleeps good thru the nite too! Loves her toys and loves to run!!

Walter

We appreciate you and all your volunteers for everything you do to help so many animals. We adopted Walter in June 2021 and he's brought us so much joy every day since. He's a constant ball of fun energy who loves to cuddle and love on his family. He's been on multiple vacations and trips with us - he's always up for an adventure! He goes to doggie day care a few times a week and makes friends with every dog there. He has totally taken over our house with beds and toys in every room. We can't imagine life without him now - thank you for bringing him into our lives!

Pagosa
Pagosa

He is doing great! We are of course still working through the new family dynamics with all three dogs as expected.

We have renamed him “Cooper” and he is learning his name quite well. He is also doing AMAZINGLY at potty training already!

We have an over abundance of dog beds in our house, and he LOVES stretching out and napping on each and every one of them. He likes to flop and lays in some interesting positions.. lol

Sir Whiskers

Mittens aka “Moo” is adjusting so well to his new home. This is him next to Marlow, the ash-gray tabby we adopted from you all 1 year ago. We can already tell these two are becoming sweet buddies. 🐾   Highly recommend giving kitties plenty of time to get used to each other’s smells before fully letting them meet. After about 7 days of room swapping so they could smell each other they finally seemed relaxed enough to meet - and they’ve been buddies since. 🤍 Thank you for helping us find this buddy for Marlow and new furry member of our family
