Simba the Coonhound

I must admit that when I walked into Petsmart, January 2009, I was not looking for a pet. I was looking to pass some time. One look into Simba's beautiful brown eyes and I knew he was the one. It was love at first sight. I rushed home to get my other dog, Lady, and family members so we could all meet. He needed to get neutered first and I counted the minutes until we could bring him home. My son was very distraught because of how underweight Simba was but we quickly added a much needed 17 lbs to him and he looks much better now. He is a big lover, so affectionate and sweet. If I miss my alarm clock in the morning he wakes me up with kisses. He is perfectly content just snuggling and having his head and chin scratched. When other dogs come over for play dates he lets Lady play and he soaks up all of the people attention while she's busy. He plays fetch and we go exploring in the woods. He is really everything I could have ever wanted in a dog. Thank you for rescuing him from Georgia. I don't know what I would do without him. Respectfully, Jessica Lumm

Smudge the Puggle

Here is a photo of Smudge, now known as Bear. I wanted to send you pictures of our newest family member on his first night home!! He's been WONDERFUL with the girls and fit right in at home. The last two pictures are really neat because he went right to bed with my oldest (without any prompting), then about an hour later, went into my younger daughter's room to be with her (last pic)!! Thank you so much for all your help with this process.

Sierra the Boxer Puppy

this is sierra. We brought her home Feb 14th! She is loving her new home and we love her very much. She can sit, but we are working on the stay. She is just full of life and loves to play. She is a snuggler and love to sit on our laps. She sleeps on my head at night. She has been good with her telling me when she needs to go out side by hitting the door with her foot. She does get a liitle happy to see us and will pee just alittle. She had her first vet visit and is doing well. We love her very much. Thankyou ~ Bob and Pam

Sokka the Siamese Kitten

What can we say, we absolutely love this little guy to pieces! He is by far one of the most sociable cats we've ever met. He absolutely loves to be around people and wants to be involved in every little thing - from cooking dinner to taking baths and showers. He will literally follow us around from room to room and from upstairs to downstairs and will sit near us regardless of what we're doing. You'd almost think he was a dog! When we're cooking in the kitchen he seems to feel left out all the way down on the floor (which he'll let us know), so we'll pick him up and he'll most often times sit on – or even sprawl across –our shoulders; it's really cute! He has tons of energy and loves to play, so we make sure we set aside play time with him everyday. He sleeps with us at night and loves to cuddle right up to us. His tail is doing great and fortunately the hair has grown long enough so that it covers the tip. He looks like a little bobcat with his short tail, but we honestly think it's the cutest thing! So many of our friends have met him and have just been so impressed with his personality, and of course, they all comment on how beautiful he is! We are so happy that he has come into our lives and can't thank you enough for making it happen! Thanks for everything! Matt and Mel
