Sparky the Sweet and Social Shepherd Mix

Sparky and Francis have fit into the family very nicely. Sparky is quite the lover and has to have one of us at all times. He slept all night next to my bed. Francis is a little shy and likes to wander. She spent the night walking around the house. They both get along with my cats but want to chase the bunny. We will be working on that. Blessings, Brenda

Saile the Lab Blend Puppy (VIDEO)

Hello Diane, Saile is doing very well. He was very timid and we believe a little homesick for the first few days but he is doing very well now. He adjusted very quickly to his crate and loves to run around and be chased. He enjoys playing with his new toys especially the tug a war rope. We have also discovered he likes getting wet and will walk into the shower if door is left open. He is still very scared of cars so unfortunately he has yet to go out in the front yard....with some more time I am sure he will get over that. He is a sweet boy and has a wonderful personality. I have attached a few pictures of him to the email. Is there any way to see updates of Saile's siblings? thanks Michelle

Sterling the Blue Puppy

Sterling, we now call her Mabel is doing so well. She sleeps with our 6 year old daughter every night and our other dogs love her some much, it's non-stop play at our house. Our vet just loves her so much too, she has a blue pit as well and wants her dog and Mabel to get together for a play date. LOL! If you have a cell #. I can text you some pictures of her, she is so cute. Thanks for checking in and thank you for taking such good care of her. From time to time I will send you pictures so you can see how big she is getting.

Seal/Maximus is doing great! I couldn't of asked for a better pup! He goes everywhere with me, we are always getting into stuff. :)

Steeler the Australian Cattledog

Steeler had been with PRBJ for over a year before I found him through a volunteer. It's now been almost three years since my family adopted Steeler. It was evident from the beginning that Steeler was and continues to be "my" dog. He is my best buddy. I adopted him to be a real working dog for rounding up the cattle. The first time in the pasture he herded the cattle perfectly! Once Steeler got the cattle all to the trough, he got so excited that he jumped into the trough, scared the cattle, and they scattered! He went right back to work and successfully got them back to the trough. From the beginning, Steeler has been a great watch dog. Packages are delivered outside the gate of the driveway because the postal carriers don't have Steeler's permission to enter the property. Additionally, it's obvious someone trained him. I did not teach him but he knew sit, down, roll over, etc. He plays ball by bouncing the ball off of his nose and back to me. Also, if he is running full speed and I whistle, Steeler immediately stops and comes back to me. This is all without any training on my part. Steeler has plenty of other family members to choose from but he picks me. Steeler is one of kind. I will never find another dog as unbelievable as him.
