Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Sadie the Blue

Judy,

Attached is our Sadie .  We adopted  her as a small kitten.  She is the little diva but a very loving cat.  She getting older so stays in the house more but still has favorite spot on the lanai. She loves to cuddle up on the quilt on the bed and sort of hide from the world. The other two cats just follow her around and let her be.
We love our Sadie !
Thsnk you for saving this wonderful cat many years ago.

Stella

Hi Carol,

Stella is doing wonderfully.  We have been playing ball, taking walks and she is enjoying the pool.  Her and Blessing get on the dog float.  She has her pick of beds in the house and she sleeps with Annalyce every night.   We have our first vet appointment next Saturday and I am certain all will be fine.

Sasha

Sasha update: its hard to get a good picture because she’s always moving. Lol. She eats hard food like a champ & is putting on weight. She loves walks, going to the dog park and playing with squeaky toys.

S'more

We are having a wonderful time with S’mores. We actually renamed him Hurley . We liked the name , but feel this one is more like him. He is such a sweet boy! He has the nicest personality and he loves the boys! Us too.  He was so sad on Monday when the boys had to go to school. He kept looking around for them. But was ecstatic when they got home! As were they.

I think he’s getting use to our routine and is feeling at home here. He loves his crate and the doggie bed in the living room. We’re doing good on potty training except when we leave the house. I put him in his crate with toys and a couple treats but he always seems to have an accident by the time I get home. I usually only leave for up to 30/40 minutes. I know he will get better with time.

I can’t tell you how happy we are to have him in our lives. I feel like our family is more complete now. I got the name of a good vet and will make an appointment with them shortly. We look forward to many years of fun adventures with our Hurley . Thank you all so much!
