RHETT is a wild and crazy dog--and we mean that with great love. We love him to death--and so does our Chihuahua Morocca. He makes us laugh so much, just because he is so much fun to be around. Every now and then he will rest--but for the most part he is on the go 24/7. He has not had too many accidents in the house--so, that has been good. We also have not left him out alone for any extended time yet. Am hoping by the time school starts he will be able too, but am not sure? His crate is in Matthew's room, so they kindof sleep together. And, the dog that I thought I knew so well--Morocca, has totally made me a freaking lyer--every once in a while she will yell at him for playing with her too rough--probably because she is still hurting a little from her surgery--but for the most part, she will ask him to play with her. I guess we got her a companion. They will even eat out of the same bowl--I still can not believe how she has taken to him. She will even protect him against the cat! - Meryl P.

Reno

Reno has been re-named by my son as "Brody." He exclaimed to the veterinarian today during a well puppy visit that Brody is his best friend. Brody is so sweet and gentle. He is very smart - a quick learner. He has adjusted perfectly to living with my older dog and two cats. The older dog has been great with helping to train Brody too. They get along perfectly! My older dog loves to swim in the pool. Now Brody swims in the pool too. We call him the "turbo swimmer" because he moves his little paws so quickly in the water. In the last two weeks he has almost doubled his weight. He's getting to be such a big boy already. This organization does such a great job to find homes for great animals in need of loving homes. The effects of Brody's training and love given during his first 12 weeks by foster care have been so obvious. He was nearly house-broken and never made a mess in his crate. He is well mannered and very playful. I can't even say how much we love Brody and are so pleased he is part of our family. Thanks again to Cathy and her family for all of their time, care and love given to Brody while he was awaiting his new home - ours. ~ Michelle C.
