Rafaela the Dilute Tortie

Just a hello and to let you know that Hitchens (Major) and Magdalene (Rafaela) are doing great. I've attached a couple photos of them here. Hitchens is HUGE and happy, and Magdalene is a sweet, demure little girl. They both say hello and send you best wishes.

Rose the Boxer/Greyhound

Hi Janie! We adopted Rose almost 2 months ago now, so I thought I'd send you a quick update. When we first brought her home it was like she was in "good behavior" mode. Example, it was 2wks before we heard her bark! lol We've really enjoyed watching her settle in, realizing this is her "home". Right from the start she's been one big bundle of love, constantly rolling on her back for tummy rubs. She's been fine with our cat too, in fact they've recently started playing together. What I am most pleased with is the way Rose is with our 15 month old son. From day one she was fine letting him pull on her feet and pat her head. As you can see by the picture this has escalated into our son crawling all over her, and she is perfectly content to let him do so. My husband's family has dogs too and she gets so excited to see them, they run around the yard together for hours. She rides perfectly in the car, she's never had an accident in the house, and has nothing but love for everyone she meets. I don't know the circumstances of how or why someone gave her up, but I'm so happy you were there to rescue her from the shelter. She's a special dog who fits in wonderfully with our family, we feel lucky to have her. I want to give a heart felt thank you to Janie, Amanda, Judy and the volunteers we encountered at the Oviedo Mall. Everyone one of you made this the most enjoyable experience for us. Riley the Lover Boy Kitten

Hello. :0) I just wanted to send you some of my new pictures of Riley. He's SO BIG!!! He's also growing his "big boy mane/ruff" and looks absolutely gorgeous. He and my Sasha Jean get along most of the time, though she just won't give in and curl up with him yet. They do play constantly and sleep in the same vicinity. Baby steps, ya know. She wouldn't want to let him off the hook as the newbie TOO quickly. :0) He brightens my day, everyday. Thanks so much. Charity

Rhett the Ball Fetching TV Star

Ripley is doing great. He has been super easy to train and is remarkably smart. Ripley is wonderful with all the dogs in the neighborhood and has been great with my neighbor who helps out with him. Though he was trained to be frisbee and ball focused I have been able to help him modify that behavior so that we can both live happily. Living on the golf course gives him ample room for ball play. We are able to get to the dog park a couple of times a week and he gets to swim regularly. Ripley and I bonded very quickly and manage to keep each other very active. I feel lucky to have found so wonderful a dog and thank everyone at Judy's for making it possible. Nikki
