Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Rubi the Smiling Puppy

This is Paisley! Originally named Ruby! Adopted at 8 weeks, She is now 4 months! We love our addition to the family :) Alexis

Rue

We adopted Sawyer on Aug 9 at Pet Rescue by Judy in the Oviedo mall . We had been looking for a dog for several weeks prior and even though we met a few pups we never really made that true connection until we met Sawyer (He was named Rue at the time). We were amazed on how smart Sawyer was. from the very first day he has asked to be let outside to go potty. He’s very gentle and loves to cuddle up with us. He gets along very well with his new sister Layla and its good for her because she’s getting a little extra exercise playing with sawyer. We take Sawyer to the park every week and he loves playing with the other dogs. he likes to be chased and he loves running in the water, he still hesitant about our pool but he sure loves the lake. He started puppy training classes and is doing very well. he is the biggest in his class, at 5 months old he already weights 44Lbs. he responds well to basic commands and seems to learn quickly. It only took him a few nights to get used to sleep in his crate, he now does it every night, no problem! Sawyer has made our lives so much happier!. He’s a great addition to our family and we love him very much!. Our home feels complete with him here.

Regina

She's getting so big the last few weeks. Weighs a little over 11 pounds now. Still having some accidents but is definitely improving. Knows sit, stay, and touch (our trainers first step in loose leash walking). And she's so darn pretty. Stacy

Rick

What a happy day for Rick! He was adopted! His new family looks pretty happy, don't they!?

Rosey the Little Mix

We adopted this sweet senior girl a year and a half ago and she has been such a love! She started out as a shy, reserved dog that would lay in a corner half the day and barely interact with our other 2 dogs. Now she follows me everywhere I go, sits with us on the couch and loves car rides! She runs around like a silly girl when it's dinner time or doggie walk time with her new family. Rosey will run laps around the house barking while we're putting on our tennis shoes before the walks. So cute!! She's even started playing with toys now, which never occurred before. We're so blessed to share her senior years with her & wish we could have had her longer! P.S. I've attached a picture of her and our dogs on a car ride (an almost daily ritual) :-)
