Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Petey the Puggle
Petey the Puggle

Just letting you all know that the little man is doing fine. Right now, I believe he is upstairs trying to find a new spot to hide his treat. I really hope he remembers where he has been putting these things ;) He is the sweetest little guy and ever so loving. My son loves him to death. Thank you both again for our new family member. Andrea

PawPaw the Puppy
PawPaw the Puppy

PawPaw (now Max) is doing great. We are very attached to him. He is making a lot of progress but there are still some things he needs work on so we just signed up for a Dog Obedience course through Pet Smart which starts on October 20. He still has some accidents, teethes on furniture, jumps on visitors and all the standard puppy stuff. However he has a great disposition and is very loving. He is growing very quickly and I am hoping he's not very big but he certainly won't be a small dog. We will send you pictures in the next couple of days. Patti

Buddy (Payton) is doing great. We really love him. We actually met his sister Ruby the second day we got him. I will send you a more detailed update with some pics. Thank you so much for the addition to our family! -Carol & Eric

PeeWee DECLAWED
PeeWee DECLAWED

Just wanted to give you an update on Pee Wee. She is very sweet and loving and warming up to her new surroundings. She ate as soon as we freed her from the carrier. She has yet to go to the bathroom, but I am not worried. She explored the house while our other cats were asleep and seemed to do very well. We have her in "her room" for now, but she seems anxious to get out and explore. We are very happy to have her and if you could please pass on the update to her previous family I would grateful. They seemed to be very torn about letting her go and I want to assure them she is doing fine. I will let you know how things progress. It was very nice to meet you this afternoon and I appreciate all your help. With Gratitude, Christina, Chandler and Chase

Punky
Punky

I just wanted to give you an update on Peanut and Almond (Punky). Since we adopted them two months ago they have really come around. I am so glad we were able to keep these two brothers together as they seem really attached to each other. They both love their bellies rubbed and are so good at sharing the window seat with each other. They are very good eaters and love to chase lizards around the porch. We are so happy to have these two sweet boys as a part of our family and are so glad that you provide people with the opportunity to rescue animals in need! Sincerely, The Peckham Family
