Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Pepper Potts The Avengers Puppy

Pups still happy, healthy, and outsmarting us at every turn. I am so glad we kept them together. They are absolutely best friends. They have started filling out and are at 62 lbs. each. They make quite an impression when we go for walks. I call it our “Westminster Walk” because they really walk beautifully on a leash. Everyone in the neighborhood stops to admire them. They have had no health problems. We had a trainer come to the house and watch their behavior and help us be better partners. She came down every 2 weeks, and the pups learned very quickly. Depending on who the company is, the pups stay out and are perfectly well-behaved. We went to Europe for 3 weeks in May and our neighbors took care of the 3 dogs and 7 cats. They got so attached to the pups, now they come over for “visitation” and cocktails! Everybody loves the girls as much as we do. Barb

Prince the Energetic GSD

Prince is thriving in his new home!

Palazolo the Deagle

We came by the Oviedo Mall this afternoon to see if by chance Max was there and Judy gave us the news. I teared up a little but was happy for him. His story made us sad. HOWEVER, we ended up coming home with one of the deagle dogs, Palazolo, which we renamed "Prince." He is a wonderful dog and seems to have adapted quickly, we fell in love with him and we are now a forever family. Thank you for keeping in touch with us

Prince the Beautiful German Shepherd

Prince was dog tired after his first day in his new home!

Pez the Little Man

Hey PRBJ! I officically adopted "Pez" last week, after fostering him for 2 weeks! I had to change his name to fit my Disney pet theme, so he is now Buzz Lightyear, but we call him Buzz of course. He is so smart! He has learned to sit, stay, and "paw". He also learned to sleep in his own bed next to mine. Buzz is learning how to alert me to sounds because I am hearing impaired. He already "alerts" me to my alarm and the door, without barking. I have been very lucky that he is already house, potty and crate trained! His personality has really come out and he loves to run around and play. His favorite thing to do is go outside! He could spend hours out there. He gets along great with my cat and my parents' 2 dogs. PRBJ has blessed me with so many things in the last few years that I have been volunteering. I have been so grateful for the friends and "family" that I have made and for the rewarding experience that PRBJ has brought me. I am so glad that I am finally able to say that I am a "foster failure" and a proud owner of a Pet Rescue by Judy dog! Thanks so much for everything! Lauren
