Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Mylo the Siamese Kitten

Mylo and Tyler (formerly Pogo) are doing just great. They are absolute loves. There is mutual love between them and our dog Rocky. We are really enjoying having them run all over the house, sleep on our bed and spend time with us on the patio. They are so sweet and affectionate, love being brushed and petted. They spend time sleeping in their room during the day up in their cat tree. They actually come to me when I call them! Thank you so much for introducing us. They were the best choice

Moche the Flamepoint Gentleman

Just wanted to send a picture of Moche...my adopted son (lol) lounging on my afghan in my recliner. He likes to keep it warm for me! Thought you could add the pic to your album! Marcia

Munchkin the Survivor Shih Tzu
Munchkin the Survivor Shih Tzu

Just an update on Munchkin the Survivor now known as MUNCHIE THE LITTLE DEVIL he has completely taken over my life. He never leaves my side . He loves his walks and loves to go for a ride in the car. And he does sleep on his pillow at the top of my bed. Not bad for a little dog who was afraid of men. Also loves his belly rubbed. Just thought you would like to know how he was doing. Ron

Midnight the Declawed Bombay

Hi Catherine and Happy New Year to you too! Midnight is doing very well and has adapted to his new home better than we expected. He has moved in as though he has lived here forever. Your early comments that he might be a bit of a biter were right on. Lilian and I both got chomped on until we learned his "tell". I am certain it wasn't aggressive, but just the way he reacts to our interactions. Now that we know what triggers it we have been able to get him to stop. It also helped to increase his play time. He has a VERY favorite toy - a sort of "bird on a stick", that will keep him engaged until he runs out of energy. He definitely DOES bite the "bird". Most of the time he simply acts like a cat. He likes to be near us, but not on us. He isn't a lap cat. He is more like a dog in that he likes to be next to us and be petted. I have attached a couple photos from this weekend. In one he is in his favorite place doing his favorite thing - napping. In the other he decided sleeping on my grubby, and probably stinky, old work shoes was just the ticket. Thanks for checking in. We are happy to send an update whenever you would like. Lilian and Rick

Monet the Aussie/BC Puppy

Hello, This is Monet Foxy LeCoco, our beautiful Pet Rescue By Judy mutt that we adopted in March of 2010. Of course, we don't really call her by all those silly names...those are just for fun. She's a wonderful girl. Monet is very well-behaved, sweet-natured, and surprisingly obedient. She enjoys playing with our Boston Terrier, is kind to our very old pug mix, and treats the cat pretty well. Everybody loves her. At night, she even enjoys sleeping in the people beds. Thank you so much for taking such great care of so many animals in need. Have a very Merry Christmas!
