We adopted a dog 11 years ago. Chester! We adopted him from Judy. He’s been a joy in our lives. He was moved from two other shelters when his time was up. Judy took him in, and we were lucky to adopt him into our family. They thought he was around 2 years old. We did go through three trainers! But he was worth it!! He still acts like a puppy!
When we walked into your rescue 4 years ago we were there to see another dog we saw on your website. We didn’t know he was in foster care. But it really wouldn’t have mattered because there was sweet little mojo and we fell in love. It was meant to be. Sweet mojo. We love him so much. Thank you for everything you do.
The first pic we have of Mikey was taken 11 years ago at your shelter two days before we brought him home. It popped up on my FB feed this morning. Just want to say thank you again for bringing us together. He is just the best and is still a happy healthy doggo, albeit 11 years older now. We’ve lived on a farm in Ohio for about ten years now and he spends his days swimming, playing, and enjoying life. You all are the best! Thank you for all you do!
Hello! I wanted to give an update on Maggie, a young cat we adopted 5/9/2020 She's is all settled in and quite the darling. She's content to sleep on our laps or on various soft beds. She also adores being held!
