Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Ka Chung the Maltese
Ka Chung the Maltese

Ka Chung is doing great! I've decided to rename him Bo, and surprisingly enough he's responding well to that change. The first couple days he was a little lethargic (overwhelmed) but he's really picked up energy and spirits! Bo's an incredibly sweet and loving little dog. He loves to be on the couch with me but follows me around everywhere too. He's obsessed with apples as Cheryl (his foster) pointed out, and has really grown a big appetite! We only have one more day of the antibiotics left and he's doing a lot better with hard food pieces than I thought, (don't think his mouth is bothering him.) He sleeps with me every night, and he snores! lol. We've got a long way to go with the leash training and house breaking but he's getting better every day!

Kitty Perry the Kitten

Hi Catherine, Ri Ri is settling in very well. I can definitely see how attached he is to his sister. They spend quite a bit of time together. I have some pictures. I gave them the names Max and Ruby :) I love them both! Heather

Kimbo the Lab/Bulldog Puppy

Hi Judy and team, I just wanted to send some pictures to you to show you how Kimbo is doing. I adopted Kimbo from you guys sometime around the end of march beginning of april this year. I have already sent you a success story but still wanted to send some pictures. When I adopted him he was only 4 months and23 lbs....he is now a year and 1 month, and around 70 lbs. He has SO much character as you will see in the pictures below. Thank you again! He has made 2012 the best year yet! Happy New Year! ----Best Wishes, Lauren and Kimbo

Kiely the Shy Shepherd/Aussie Puppy
Kiely the Shy Shepherd/Aussie Puppy

Hi Amy, Kiely is a wonderful puppy. She's still a bit shy, but warming up to us little by little. And she absolutely loves our backyard. Once she's outside, it's hard to get her to come back in. :). We also changed her name to Kaylee - and our son adores her. She had her first visit to the vet yesterday...everything went well. So thanks to you all for everything - we love our new puppy. Once we take some pictures we'll be sure to share. All the best, Tanya & Russell

Kyla the Olympic Gymnast Puppy

Hi Diane, Debbie and I wanted to thank you for our newest addition to our family. Her new name is Zoe. We wanted to pass along a picture of her getting comfortable at home. Thanks again. All my best, Brian
