Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Harry

Harry has officially been renamed "Kingsley" and he is a full on member of the family.  He has settled in wonderfully!  We had Sunday afternoon and all day Monday with just the four of us at the house and it was a great time to bond with him.  On Tuesday we had a total of 14 people including us and he handled it like a champ.  We had a whole game plan in place for if he got overwhelmed or anxious and he was totally fine!  He would lay greet everyone at the door (Lucky taught him that if he greets people at the door and then RUNS to the kitchen he gets a treat - not my best training moment!) and then he would chill out and lay down.

He loves to be right next to me and follows me everywhere.  He particularly loves the mat in front of the kitchen sink and there is a funny picture of me leaning over him to wash dishes.  I will send you some fun pictures in a separate email.

Holly

Merry Christmas from "the goob" #Sasha she's a whole two years old now and I couldn't be happier to have her! Thank you

Hannah

Hello Yvette,

I wanted to give you an update on Maddie . She is still the best thing in our lives! We finally did allergy testing and she came back positive for lots of weeds, grass, house dust, and no seeums. We start injections for the weeds and grass in an attempt to build up her immune system so she doesn’t always react in hives. For the house dust I will hire a house maid! LOL! She’s allergic to 28 out of 50 environmental factors but they think she’s young enough that we can reverse it in a way so she won’t have to be on allergy meds her whole life. Well give it a try.

She’s still a lover as you can see! Hope you are well!

Hudson the Maine Coon Beauty
Hudson the Maine Coon Beauty

My husband and I adopted 2 cats - Hudson and Penny Lane - from you in 2012.

The girls are doing wonderfully and are spoiled as bad as one can be spoiled!      They truly helped me through the grief of losing my husband.
