Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Mahalo,

Gordon

Charley (FKA Gordon) pictured on the right was adopted in December 2015. That makes this our fourth Christmas together! We love our little boy so much; especially when he tolerates us taking silly holiday pictures of him and his sister.
Thank you for all you do and Happy New Year!

Gisella

Doing my best to provide you guys with periodic updates on Bella. We think she's about full-grown now. Such a big strong girl - at 10 months she's about 65 pounds. But she's a 65-pound lap dog. Always ready for snuggles. We wouldn't have it any other way.

She's well-trained enough now to be left out of her crate at night. We have a big comfy dog bed for her but, of course, she prefers to sleep in bed with us so she can cuddle. So adorable!

I take her to work often. My office is dog-friendly. My coworkers can't get enough of her and they spoil her. Our little social butterfly. Any day where she get's to interact with as many people as possible is a good day in her book. She's such a friendly girl with everyone and everything. We recently had a dog picture day at the office too and she was so photogenic! (I've included one of those photos here)

We recently went on vacation for a week and she spent the week with my parents and had a great time. They have a large backyard and she had the run of the place. But we missed her so much. We were ready to come home to see her smiling puppy face. She's definitely a central part of our family and our hearts. We'll need to stop by PRBJ soon so we can say hello in person!
