Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families. We invite you to read along with us. If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going! We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.
I think we have found the perfect pet for us. Twinkie was very quiet and well behaved the entire one-hour drive to his new home. He loves to be petted, and his "purring motor" is running constantly. Agnes and I took turns holding him, and he "snuggles up" with his motor running full speed. In the evening, we put on his harness and leash without objection. We than placed him in the small storage pocket of my wife's stroller, and took him for a ride outside. Again, he was very alert and observant, but never tried to jump out. We think he really enjoyed the ride. Tonight he is "hiding out" in my closet, and I am leaving him alone because I think he needs a little "quiet time" to get adjusted. I have made an appointment on Friday , for Twinkie's health checkup, bath, and rabies vaccination. Gene
Hello to all our friends at PRBJ!
Wanted to give you an update on our Fluffy - we adopted him on
July 3rd
and we've not had a day without love, tail wags and smiles since! He is a wonderful boy who loves going for walks, playing in the yard and cuddles. As you can see from the photos, he's put on about 12 pounds since his rescue and is now at a perfect weight for his size. His coat is so full and shiny that he now truly lives up to his name - he really is a fluffy, loving fur ball!
Thank you for rescuing him so he could become such an important part of our family in his forever home.
Happy Holidays!
Barb, Ed and Fluffy
Hello to all our friends at PRBJ!
Fluffy has been with us for 2 weeks now and is settling in well.
He enjoys long walks and playing with a ball or his other toys. He is such a love-puppy...he gets pets, cuddles and snuggles all thru the day and is always wagging his tail to let us know we are loved.
Thank you so much for rescuing our special boy!
