Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Fiona the Fabulous

Fiona is still cranky and doesn’t like exercise, but is so loving when she wants to be. This is her rescued sister Noelle who is deaf and vision impaired and a giant excited toddler and who gets on Fiona’s nerves. Sisters! Fiona also has many kitty siblings whom she loves.

Fabio

Just wanted to send an update on Josey Wales! He is doing awesome, and my husband tells all his friends, "we rescued him, but i think he rescued me". He is definitely my husband's dog and he loves going to work everyday (except Mondays haha). Josey and Dino have become quite the buddies!

Thank you so much for helping us provide him a forever home!

Faith

Hi there Judy! Just wanted to update you that we are so in love with our Bristol Faith (formerly Faith). She’s a wonderful part of our family, so very loved and we are so grateful to you for getting her to us. All of our love and gratitude.

Frank

Hello Judy and Staff,
Just wanted to send a message and wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Frick

Hi Judy and everyone at the rescue we adopted Frick from you guys a year ago today (September 27th), and we wanted to let you know how he's doing.

In the year that we have had Frick we now couldn't imagine life without him, he's become such an amazing little dog and settled in well. He's learned some basic commands like; sit, shake, and lie down. We are still working on getting him used to car rides though he has gotten a lot better since the day we adopted him and brought him home, the only time he cries while in the car now is if it isn't moving for a few minutes other than that he's come a long way from the first day we brought him home and that's a huge improvement in my book considering that the way he came to your rescue was from being thrown out of a car. Frick has honestly become such an amazing member of our family and has to have all the attention if he sees you petting one of the cats he whines and barks at you to get you stop petting the cat and pet him, he loves cuddles, hugs, and being held which is a big difference from we brought him home cause he didn't want to even be held. Thank you for letting us adopt such an amazing little dog. I've included some pictures below of Frick in the year that we have had him.
