Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Furry Purry the Scottish Fold - Declawed

Hello Catherine - Happy New Year! Just wanted to drop a line to let you know this past Sunday we celebrated one month of our beautiful sisters living with us! We cannot imagine our lives without these two sweetie pies; they have brought so much joy into our home! They are living like royalty and get along wonderfully with our other three adoptees (Mr. Fuzzums, Madeline and Lily). They line up in the kitchen each morning, all so polite, just waiting for their breakfast - and at night, they are waiting for me to come thru the door! How lucky can one be? We will be coming up again later this month or the beginning of February with more cartridges and donations. Hope you are well - thank you for making us so happy! Hope the attached pictures will make you smile! Mr.Fuzzums at dinner and Furry Purry cuddled up with a family member (Olivia was hiding in her bedroom).

Frack the Outrageously Loving Kitten

Catherine, It's almost been a year since we adopted these teenage boys and what an entertaining blessing they are! You described their personalities to a tee on your adoption page. Charlie is grown to a whopping 14 pounds and my little guy Frack is half that at 7 pounds. Charlie still doesn't understand the weight difference! Frack holds his own though and rules the roost...and is much quicker and agile. Charile, "the entertainer" talks A LOT and has figured out how to open our rocker door handles...he stands very tall, and still loves his blanket. He takes after Simon's Cat from utube - too funny!!! Frack is beautiful, much more quiet and layed back and needs to get some "neck" daily!;) winking These guys are so spoiled as we are to have them! Thanks again for fostering them until the right time when they came into our lives after tragically losing our last feline girl! Nancy and Bruce

Fritzey the senior Boston Terrier
Fritzey the senior Boston Terrier

Just wanted you to know I picked up Fritzey on Tuesday & she is doing wonderfully so far. She got a bath & her ears cleaned, we started her on coconut oil & fish oil with her food & my friend let me borrow a crate & she's made it her little home. She loves laying on the couch & sleeps with my husband & I in our bed. She's really very quiet - I've only heard her bark once. So far, Fritzey's integrated herself well with my pack. We haven't had any issues, besides her being slightly territorial of the couch. She's definitely still got LOTS of spunk. :) She's vomited a few times & I'm HOPING it's just the change in food or her not tolerating her antibiotic well. All in all, we are already head over heels for her - even my husband - who doesn't warm up to the new ones right away, went to Wal-Mart & got Fritzey her own little lavender bowl. :)

Fargo the Buckshot Surviving Lab
Fargo the Buckshot Surviving Lab

Fargo is doing very well. He's really a good boy. He has settled in well with the family. He loves to take walks. He misses them when rain doesn't allow time. My oldest son like to walk Fargo, This is good for both of them. He enjoys running around in the back yard chasing lizards too. Fargo has already become one of the FAMILY. He has brought us all closer together. Thank you. Please post as part of your success stories. Many thanks for helping us find Fargo.
