Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Carole the Big Ears Lab Blend
Carole the Big Ears Lab Blend

She and Olympia are getting acquainted not to much friction. Carole is doing great with us!

Cleopatra The longhaired Kitten

I thought you would like to know: Several months ago I adopted "SPOOK" AKA Cleopatra (a black very skittish young cat). I really had second thoughts as (if you remember) it took 2 people to catch her and put her in the carrier. She was so very frightened she had diarrhea on the way home. What a change a few months make. She has turned into a sweet, funny, but still spooky little girl....she loves to play and even tries to get the dog to chase her. She is happy, has the house to roam in and sleeps in my arms at night. While she is still a little skittish - she is a "blast" to watch jump straight up in the air and run for cover. We LOVE our little Spook (one spooky little girl).

Carson the Downton Abbey Puppy

Carson, Now named Toby just turned 1 on the 13th. He has grown to be a big part of the family with his new adopted sister Roxy the Boxer. He spends his days hanging out with his mommy at the office or running around the yard playing with his 2 legged and 4 legged sister.

Colbi (Maddie) the Lab/Aussie Puppy
Colbi (Maddie) the Lab/Aussie Puppy

Hi Diane, We found the perfect dog for us in Maddie. She is very loyal, smart, alert, territorial but friendly, she lets us know when someone is close to the house. She loves to go for walks, we take her twice a week to the dog park near Baldwin Park and every day around our neighborhood. We also have a trainer come by the house once a week and she is doing great with commands. Before I forget she is also a great paper shredder (if we let her). Max Paul

Connor the Senior Pomeranian Blend

Connor Aka Ce/Lo... Adopted 11/ 21/13 Loved ever since. Ce/Lo is learning to be at ease around humans Please note in photo Ce/Lo has a harness. This harness allows him to walk around w/me and I can guide him W/out having to tug on his little neck. He has no knowledge of traffic. He does know he doesn't like puddles!! He can't see well. He can't hear well, yet he has a survival mode of his own. I have learned so much from him by taking my cues as he allows me to. Love my new buddy. He is safe and he is greatly loved♥ Sleeps most of the day and has every right to do so, and wherever he chooses as seen in photo. Lord knows who or what before being found by a Police Officer in Orlando. To that and all Police Officers I send my Thanks for what you do. To Judy', Judyettes, Foster parent Grace and all who interrupt your life for these little furries I send ♥ Nancy P.S. Ce/Lo is becoming a N.E.Patriots Fan!!!!
