Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Bette the Yellow Lab

Hello PRBJ,

Time sure flies by!  Thought you’d like to see we’re loving life!  We get goofier with each year that passes!

We couldn’t be happier, healthier  or loved more!   And almost never stop smiling!

Always grateful for that you rescued us ,  nursed us back to health and sent us off to our forever home all those years ago.

Love you lots,

Hannah and Hazel

(aka Bette and Katie )

Bell
Bell

Good afternoon,

I just wanted to say thank you for the work you do and also for getting me such a sweet companion.  Back in September I adopted a Tuxedo kitten named Belle from you and she has turned into a very loving lap cat.  It took about until December for her to trust me enough to jump into my lap but she has been there ever since.  She is still a kitten and full of energy but she and I are best buddies now.

When I have some additional funds available I will send you a small check to help with your work.

Thanks again.

Susan

Brenden

We went in and adopted Brendan. At first he was really scared about coming into our home, and we had to literally drag him into our home. We had trouble getting him to feel comfortable but now he has become the baby of the house. When we get home from work he hugs us (literally). He plays well with the baby, and loves to be cuddled. Our hearts broke when we divided him and his brother, but we are now seeing B's (his nickname for the baby to call him) personality and we love it! We are very happy with him and hopefully we will foster his brother soon!!

Bella the Seal Point Siamese

I adopted a Burmese cat 4 years ago and it was the best decision for both me and Ms. Bella.
She and her kittens were rescued by Judy. The kittens were adopted quickly but not their mother.
I loved her from the first minute I saw her.
June 2015, I was diagnosed with Lupus and have been unable to work since then. I am so glad Bella is here with me as she has been my company and companion through this ordeal.
Today she is very happy, healthy and Spoiled.
Thanks for all you do
