...Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you... I loved you so - 'twas heaven here with you. -Isla Paschal Richardson

Missy the Lab
Dear Pet Rescue by Judy,
It is with deep sadness in our hearts that I inform you that our sweet Missy
went to be with her brother Toby, and all other humans and animals in Heaven,
on February 24, 2012.
I am so glad Missy was a part of our loves.
I am enclosing a few pictures of Missy. We miss her so much. Our chihuahua Bandit
is lost and in grief without his best friend Missy. it breaks my heart to see Bandit so lost
without his sister Missy, I hope to foster another senior dog soon.
I will be donating $100.00 in memory of Missy and Toby, who was diagnosed with bone cancer
and died in September 2010.
We miss them both so much, and out hearts are broken right now.
Sincerely,
Patty
Keesh
I lost Keesh tonight. My heart is broken again. She got into a fight with Sophie while I was gone and lost too much blood - they couldn't save her. I know you all cared for her so I wanted to let you know. We all did everything we could to give her the best life possible. RIP my sweet blue eyed girl. Lisa
Sargent the Great Dane
I just wanted to tell you Sargent died on friday. I took him to the vet for a distended abdomen and found out it was due to an enlarged heart. His heart was so large it was pushing on his spine and all his other internal organs. The fluid was backed up due to his heart not pumping correctly. He just had xrays a few months ago and his heart was fine. The vet said she has never seen a heart get that large that fast. It was the worst day of my life. The only comfort I had was the fact that he wasn't in any pain. A little discomfort but he was acting normally. I just thought you would want to know. Thank you for everything you did for him.

Pewter
Hi Catherine, as I promised I wanted to give you an update on Pewter. It is a very sad day here as with her diagnosis of FIP we did decide it was best to put her to sleep. As I'm sure you know there is no cure or treatment for it.The one up side to it all is the fact that I believe strongly it's not how long you live, but how well you live. We take solace in knowing that Pewters short life was filled with a great deal of love and that she was fortunate enough to have not been exposed to the many cruelties of life many of the animals at Judy's experience. She will be sorely missed here by all, especially Roxy. Please let Judy know about the FIP. I'm not sure if Pewter ever actually spent time at the shelter but I believe she had siblings so I don't know if you may wish to contact them so they can be aware there kitties could possibly develop it also. She is now with the rest of our family who has passed on in a garden in the back. It is a tradition with us to bury our pets with significant items they had while with us. We wrapped Pewter in her favorite doggie blanket you gave her and her toys from her Christmas stocking. God bless, Mark, Tara, Hannah, Roxy, Chloe, Bubbles, Snowy, and Jazz
Libby
Our precious baby girl - Libby. We adopted her from PRBJ in 2005 after she was rescued from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. She captured our hearts and our 2 boys at home let her come in and take over. She gave us 5 years of pure joy and we miss her dearly. In her honor we will adopt another girlie in need of a home. When we left the shelter with Libby you told us to "enjoy her" and that we did. She was the sweetest girl, wiggled her tail like crazy and howled for her morning Milkbone biscuit. We love and miss you Libby Lou.
