UPDATE: 8/7/2018 This is Lil Miss renamed Luna. She got adopted in 2016 from us and the women who adopted her gave the cat to her mom. Unfortunately the women was not able to care for Lil Miss due to health issues and her daughter could not take her back since she adopted a dog. Lil Miss had it hard from the begining and at this age she is totally stressed. When will she find her forever home. If you read her story below you will see how horrible people can be when it comes to a lifetime commitment to a pet. Lil Miss is very confused now but is so loving and sweet. She loves to be petted and to get love. She is front declawed. If you are interested in this beauty please put an application in and let this senior have a home for the rest of her life. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY......FROM LIL MISS.
Beautiful Lil Miss did have a home and someone did the most horrible thing to let this beautiful cat front declawed loose. A wonderful lady took care of her who found her . She made a great ouside safety bed for her and fed her. But she realized the cat was too beautiful and loving to be left like this. She surrendered her to PRBJ. From the moment we got Lil Miss she loved to be held and cuddled. This cat is front declawed and will love to be held like a baby and be spoiled. Please come and meet this unique wonderful cat. She is also known as a Blue cream/white calico which you do not see much of.
According to cat-lovers-only.com, the Calico cat breed is actually not a breed at all, but a tri-color coat patter, often black, red, and white. Many different types of cats can have this coat pattern, and it is not restricted to any particular type of breed. All three colors are in a distinct patches, not mixed as in Tortoiseshells. To be a true tri-color, a calico cat's colors must be: 1) white; 2) red or cream; and 3) black, blue, chocolate, lilac, cinnamon, or fawn. The variations in color from red and black are caused by a gene which dilutes, or lightens up the basic color, and produces a dilute calico cat, most commonly with a coat of white, cream, and blue."
