Beautiful Amber was among a group of kittens that we accepted from a high kill shelter in Georgia. They gas their pets in mass, an extremely cost effective, painful way to kill a maximum number of pets. When we learned they were going to kill 50 on a Friday, we agreed to take a handful of them if the local volunteers could bring them to us. Weren't we shocked when they brought us 26 instead! Oh my! We are hoping for a huge influx of adopters and fosters to help with all these felines. We anticipate Amber will be ready for her forever home at the end of July/early August.
