Oz is a gentle hearted lab/shepherd mix, just 7 months old. Isn't it sad that such a young, lovely dog could end up in a shelter where they gas their animals in mass? That where we rescued him from. The photo of him standing against the blue cement wall was taken there. Look at those soulful eyes. We did. That's why we had to save him. Now look at him standing as close as he can to our volunteer, freshly bathed, enjoying the sun and the grass, but more so, enjoying the human companionship. What an angel.
Oz has the most interesting coat. It is a pale yellow, almost white, with black highlights, almost like outlining, throughout it. Really unususual.
Oz will be neutered and ready for his forever home on July 28th.

Foster update 7/18:Oz (or Mr. Ozman as we've been calling him) is a lover. He is still part puppy but listens very well and is well behaved. He loves attention and affection and gives it back tenfold. He is great on a leash and gets along very well with the cats (although he is a little timid around them) and other dogs. He loves his belly and ear rubs and is happy as can be to just be near you. He is just a doll and one look into those eyes and your heart melts. He loves to run around and play with the kids and take nice long walks. He is a wonderful, loving dog that deserves a very loving family.
