Dog for a day update 3/3/21 Rosie does NOT seem like a senior! I had no idea she was 10 when we embarked on our marathon walk and now I’m a bit amazed that she was as energetic as she was. She was a delight on the leash and responded well (pretty much not at all) when we passed at least 20 chihuahuas who barked at her. She was gentle and a bit shy. She might make you earn her trust because she’s a wise dog :)
Dog For a day 2/28:
We took Rosie out this past Saturday and she was the sweetest girl ever. We took her to Oviedo on the park, got her a pup cup from Starbucks and gave her so many belly rubs. She was so great in the car, was amazing on the leash and didn’t pull at all. She was amazing to hang out with!
Our beautiful Rosie was adopted from us in 2013 as a young puppy. She is almost 11 now, and her owners surrendered her back to us because they have a baby and cannot dedicate the time to both Rosie and baby. Rosie is housetrained, likes larger dogs, is good with children over 10, is very playful when outside, she enjoys swimming, and is trained not to get on couch. Per her previous owner, she is highly energetic and has a high prey drive to small animals and cats. All in all, she is very friendly Hound mix. A big backyard is necessary for her.
