Description: At first we thought Ozzie was a female and she was such a little diva! However, she turned out to be a male - hence the name change. He is still a demanding little diva though. He is finding his voice and seems to like the sound of it! before he goes to sleep (with you) he plays cover monster and attacks your feet under the duvet. He gets on very well with cats of all ages and is tolerant of the two large but gentle dogs. Ozzie has an endearing habit of "frowning" when perplexed and does this meerkat pose all the time. He is in love with the fridge and he can be at the other end of the house asleep but once you open the fridge he's there at your feet, standing on his hind legs begging for a slice of turkey or ham.
currently Ozzie is FIV+. The vets recommend a retest once he is 6 months old as he may just have the antibodies from his mom in him. If that is the case, he will outgrow it and test negative. Even if he is FIV+, most infected cats lead a happy, normal life with an average lifespan. FIV+ is only transmit able from cat to cat but even then it takes a deep bite into muscle to spread the FIV.
