Max is a wonderful little Shih Tzu. Really, he is a complete doll! We took him in from a sweet woman who has become disabled and is no longer to care for him. That breaks my heart, just as it broke hers. This dog has been loved and doted on and so needs a home that will love him forever!

Foster update 5/19: Max is such a darling. Very easy going and happy all the time. He is fully housetrained and crate trained. He's not a huge fan of the crate and barks for a couple of minutes untill he gets tired and just lays down. He is great with my cat (although my cat really dislikes him..lol), great with my two larger breed dogs and my other foster Claudia the deaf dog. He is WONDERFUL with kids and just a very friendly dog. He is leash trained and comes when called. He was recently given a summer haircut which has made his skin very itchie and dry. I have give him a conditioning bath which has helped a bit. He is a major licker and his large tongue hangs out the side of his mouth always. I think its a bit big for his tiny mouth, but i think its the cutest thing in the world! He sleeps on the bed with me at night (along with all the other dogs too..yah i'm a big push over for doggie snuggling). He isn't a puppy but he also is not an old man either and has his spirts of energy. He is not much of a chewer and spends most of his time either following me around the house, playing with the other dogs or sleeping!
