Foster Update 4/8/13: A month ago I went up to the shelter to see which cat I would foster next. I was greeted by hope. I was looking at an orange cat but hope this beautiful black cat was trying all she could to get my attention. She was beaming with sweetness. She just wanted to lavish me with her love. At that time I wasn't ready for another foster so I waited on getting her. Hope has been at the shelter since November because her owner past away. Hope is probably the sweetest cat I have ever been around. She was shy at my house for about 30 minutes only. After that she was in my lap and she was purring happily. Hope is looking for a home were she can love and be loved.

She is not a cat that will not show you attention. She will be a lap cat. She is loves cat climbers. She rolled over on her belly for a belly rub as well. She is the perfect cat for the right loving home. She also seemed to get along fine with the cats at the shelter. When I was up there she was being picked on by another cat and she never went after the other cat. Hope is looking for you and she hopes to meet you soon. She greatly misses a family environment.

Her human suddenly passed away, but loved her so much that she made sure arrangements were in place for her to come to a safe haven. She would love to make her new home with you.
