Description:

Foster Update - 12/15/12Chowder is a very laid back cat that requires some time to gain his trust. But once you’ve gained his trust, he’s a purring machine. Once you gain said trust, he’ll cuddle with you anytime you want. He loves the attention! Chowder loves sitting near you just watching what you’re doing. When he feels like it, he’ll come over to you and want attention. Like his sister Kitty Soft Paws, he is very playful. He loves lights from flashlights and things attached to strings.

Foster Update - 11/15/12 - Chowder is a sweet boy who has the potential to become an awesome cat if given the right environment and care. He is still timid when it comes to new environments and meeting strangers so it is best not to judge him by his behavior at the adoption center. Once adjusted and feeling safe, Chowder is very playful, affectionate, and will come up and rub his face against me. Chowder and his sister are both curious (as most kittens are), but are not trouble makers. Chowder is also a great lap cat and will purr loudly. Out of the four total felines in the household, Chowder is definitely the most timid, but has the potential to become the sweetest cat since his personality is still developing. Unlike most felines, Chowder did not hiss or act abrasive when meeting my older cats. He really is just a sensitive boy, sweet boy and with care, will most definitely become a wonderful, affectionate cat that any owner will love having!
He enjoys chasing, wrestling, and playing with his sister Kitty Soft Paws. They make a great little duo.

Chowder and his sister Kitty Soft Paws were found by an animal lover when they were only 5 weeks old. They have been very loving cats and are ready for their new home.

The grey male is named Chowder because he loves his treats & to eat. He is definately more shy & it takes him a little longer to adjust to new situations. He can be fearful of loud sounds. He is a little more of a loner, but still very social. He loves to stay near where you are and watch what you are doing. He likes to come lay next to you, leaning against your leg.. He loves to play with toys especially laser pointers & little mice.
They are used to children, I have 3. I bathe them frequently, trim their nails, introduce them to people and they seem very well adjusted and happy little kittens.
