Update 8/5/12:

Dixie is a trip.  Anyone who comes into the area where she lives is barraged with loving attention.  Dixie is a beautiful Tortie who will jump for treats or toys, and whose kitten curiosity is still obvious.  Dixie will talk to you until you give her some attention.  She can get kitten aggressive when she thinks you left her alone too soon after lap time, but that should pass in time as she learns that her new owner will care for her forever, and not leave her by herself for long.

Dixie is a sweet, adorable petite girl. She talks to you asking to be petted and stroked. She would make a wonderful family member.
