Foster Update 8/16/12:

Hi! I'm Sweet Pea, and you will fall in love with me the second you hold me! Not to toot my own horn, but I'm very pretty and one of the sweetest cats my foster mom has ever met. That's how I got my name! People say I'm black, but can't they see these three white hairs on my chest? Snuggling into a human's neck makes me purr, purr, purr. They say I have a V8 engine built right into me! I really like men with beards - they're one of my favorites to snuggle into! Oh, and ladies with buns of hair are fun, too. I'll play on your head Until you hold me on your lap. Sometimes when my foster parents sit on the couch, I settle in like a parrot sitting on their shoulder. I do like to play, too. Wait until you see me trotting around the house carrying a toy in my mouth! I'm very proud whenever I capture a toy. Now that my hungry brother Fluffy got adopted, I do eat a little more, but still not too much. It's how I keep my dainty figure. When I want you to hold me, I'll lift my little paws up to ask for it, just like a human baby! Whenever I do this to my foster mom she says, "Oh my gosh!!! You are too sweet." I think she likes me. She always says, "Whoever gets this kitty is going to be very, very happy." I'll be at Judy's adoption event at the Oviedo Mall on Sunday, August, 26th. You should come pick me up and hold me to see if I'll make YOU happy! Will you come out to meet me? 

Sweet Pea got her name for a reason. While she can be rambunctious and loves to play like the next kitten, once you pick her up her motor starts running, and she's got a V8! If you put her head up to your ear while she's purring, you'll even hear a hint of a coo in there! Over time it is has become evident that Sweet Pea really doesn't like wet cat food. We joke that she's a vegetarian. I noticed she would sit out while her brothers would scarf down their food. So I gave her her own special plate separate from them to see if that's why she didn't eat. Nope! As soon as I changed it to a bowl of dry food, she started munching away. Oh! And the cutest thing about Sweet Pea, like a child who wants to be held, she will actually reach her paws up for you to pick her up when she is in the mood for cuddling. It is SO precious!
