Description: MeMe is such a sweetie. She truly is a diva! She is full of personality and will start stuff with the boys and then step back and watch them argue with a snicker on her face. When you turn around she just looks at you like "it wasn't me, I am too much of a diva to be a part of anything like that"! She is always there to greet me in the morning when I come into work. She loves to be the center of attention but has come to terms that there are just so many that she can't have all of the attention all of the time. She likes to sit right in front of the window or the door at our adoption center so that everyone can eww and awe over her. She just lays there acting like she has no idea that people are doing this and loving every minute of it!
According to the Cat Fancier's Association, the Maine Coon is the native American longhaired cat and was recognized as a specific breed in Maine where they were held in high regard for their mousing talents. Through nature’s own breeding program, this breed has developed into a sturdy cat ideally suited to the harsh winters and varied seasons of the region. The Maine Coon is well known for its loving nature, kindly disposition and great intelligence. Maines are especially good with children and dogs and have always been a popular and sought after companion. For more information on cat breeds visit www.cfainc.org
