Oooh! You have got to see Amber. This is a beautiful Manx cat with just a nub of a tail. The medium length fur has lovely highlights running through it and are offset beautifully by those amber eyes. Amber is a nice cat who likes her space. She doesn't like to be picked up for a long time and she is very fiesty.

7/19 Volunteer Update: Amber certainly has come a long way. She has become very friendly and even lets me hold her for extended periods of time. She's turned into the BIGGEST purring machine too. She's very smart too... when I say to her "Amber, time to go back into your crate", she walks right into it and lays down. (impressive!) She is so beautiful, I'm surprised she hasn't been snatched up already!

8/18 Volunteer Update: I'm still confused why this gorgeous little girl hasn't been adopted yet. She is one of the sweetest cats I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. All she wants is love and attention. I've had tons of people comment on how beautiful she is, but then mention her long hair and shedding. I have to be honest, I've seen more hair shed in some of the shorter haired cat's crates than I have in Ambers. If you are looking for a sweet purring machine, Amber is the girl for you! You just have to look at her and she's purring away to let you know how appreciative she is to have the spotlight on her!

10/15 Foster Update: Since getting into a home, Amber's personality has really blossomed! She is very loveable. She has plenty of "competition" for affection and attention in our home but she does not let that phase her a bit.

She follows us from room to room. If we dare to sit down, she is on our laps or rubbing up against us.

She is not phased by cats or dogs or kids. She is good with everyone. And, she is very happy to share your bed with you!

Her little pom-pom tail is very cute! She "wags" it like a dog!

11/21 Foster Update: Well, we've seen a side of Amber, since it cooled down, that we had not seen before! She has been running around and playfully chasing the other cats. She is a joy! She just quietly resides in our home and our hearts...

All Pet Rescue By Judy animals are spayed/neutered prior to adoption, micro chipped and up-to-date on the vaccines applicable to their date of intake with PRBJ and respective to their weight and/or age at the time of adoption.

Pet Rescue By Judy is a non-profit, no-kill organization. The PRBJ donation fee collected may not be used to cover just the costs of this particular animal in which you are interested. As we have a variety of animals in our care with a wide range of medical needs, all donations collected are utilized towards all expenses within the rescue.

The goal of PRBJ is not just to place every animal into a home, but it is to place each animal into the RIGHT home, seeking that forever home, to avoid future transition and negative impact on the life of each of these deserving animals.
